1. Getting started

After learning the introductory aspects of your design project through filling out our collaboration form in the link below, our next step would be scheduling an in-person Initial Design Consultation to include...

• Project walkthrough

• In-depth discussion of your needs, lifestyle, and style preferences

• Conversation on preliminary budget and expectations

• Photographing "Before" Images and taking thorough notes

• After the consultation we create a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work unique to your project and an estimate of the comprehensive design fee

2. Design Process

After a design agreement is made, we begin the design process. During this phase we take measurements and begin creating floor plans and design concepts. If working with an architect, we review the plans in detail and make design suggestions personalized to the way you live.

 

We then create detailed design elevations using the latest in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). After selecting finishes and fixtures we will have a complete plan for the trades to begin their work.

3. Construction

During construction of the project we will provide on-site visits and communication with the Contractor and the Trades to ensure design details are implemented as planned. Included in managing the design aspect of the project is researching and providing information on finish materials and procuring samples. This includes a specification document and a set of finish samples so that the Client, Designer, and Builder are all on the same page.

4. Installation

In the final phase we oversee the installation of furniture, direct the hanging of decorative light fixtures, art installations, and button up all of the final details. Once the project is complete, we capture the spectacular results with a professional photography shoot. Now you are ready to relax, enjoy, and show-off your new masterpiece!
